The Stanky Fish quest is quite short, but leads to the building of Springfield Falls (one of the best-looking new decorations we’ve seen lately). If you buy the Swanky Fish restaurant, you may find yourself taking a little detour to get to it, though, as Homer and Lisa are involved in both quests.

1. Stanky Fish Part 1 – The quest begins with this announcement:

Homer: Oooh, sushi! I’m always up for eating new and exotic types of freshly killed-animals!
Lisa: I bet they have vegetarian dishes, too, like seaweed salad and steamed tofu…
Homer: stop it, Lisa – you’re making me lose my appetite for sushi! Why don’t you go to the Kwik-E-Mart and get me some raw fish you eat until it comes back?
So, Lisa goes to shop at the Kwik-E-Mart (1 hour – keep Homer free as she finishes)

2. Stanky Fish Part 2 – Homer has heard a rumor:

Lisa: That’s because the water in Springfield is stagnant and polluted. What we need is a waterfall! It would aerate the water, creating the environment the fish need to get healthier!
Homer: Pass.
Lisa: And tastier.
Homer: I mean, let’s do it!
Then, Springfield Falls appears in your inventory (it’s free). Take it out and place it in your town.

And that’s the end of the Stanky Fish quest. It’s very short – but Springfield Falls just about makes up for it. And while Homer might think that it’s the lamest waterfall he’s ever seen, I think it looks great!
