About a week ago, I wrote about samvlamis and his experience trying to get some help from EA on the Valentine’s Day update glitch that an increasing number of people seem to be experiencing (including quite a few readers of this blog) – the frozen game, the spinning donut, and the annoying harp sound. You can read the original post here.

As you may recall, EA had promised a fix in the next day or two. So, what’s happened since then?

Exactly nothing. No further responses, nothing posted at EA answers, no update, no fix. Just more and more unhappy players. You can read one of many threads on this at http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Simpsons-Tapped-Out/Game-frozen-and-playing-harp-sound-Read-this/td-p/454576 .

As players have reported it, it’s a game issue rather than a device issue and one that EA needs to fix – or at the very, very least publicly address soon (and preferably before Valentine’s Day). Because, at the moment, many of the game’s loyal, patient, donut-buying players feel like they’re being taken for granted instead of loved.
